What is an STRTP?

An STRTP is a Short Term Residential Therapeutic Program for foster youth who need a different level of care. Staffed with highly trained individuals who attend to the needs of youth, an STRTP mimics a home environment as closely as possible, while ensuring each youth’s safety. This program can include aspects such as an onsite therapist, family visitation rooms, and built-in social recreation programs.
